While the spiritual journey of the Rath Yatra takes centre stage, few devotees pause to consider the infrastructure that sustains it. Every drop of water, every clean restroom, every medical booth, every waste bin — they don’t appear magically. They are the result of months of preparation, precise coordination, and a deep sense of responsibility. For the Adani Group, compassion isn’t just an emotion; it’s a well-oiled system — designed, rehearsed, and executed with corporate precision and deep human care.

The scale of the seva is staggering. Planning for the Rath Yatra begins six months in advance. The Adani Foundation, in close coordination with local authorities, NGOs (non-governmental organisations), and temple committees, conducts needs assessments based on past years' experiences. Data informs decision-making — from identifying high footfall zones for water stations to mapping optimal routes for waste collection. This is not just charity; it is intelligent compassion.

More than 500 volunteers, including Adani Group employees and local youth, are trained and deployed across Puri during the nine-day festival. Their roles range from guiding crowds and distributing food to ensuring elderly pilgrims find rest stations. Many of these volunteers work long hours in the scorching coastal heat, motivated not by pay but by purpose. They are supported by backend teams monitoring logistics, supply chains, and emergency responses — ensuring that every service touchpoint is responsive, reliable, and respectful.

This year, the Adani Group once again reaffirmed its deep commitment to spiritual service through its extensive support during the Rath Yatra. With over 12 lakh devotees converging for the grand procession, the Adani Foundation, the CSR (corporate social responsibility) arm of the Adani Group, is playing a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort and dignity for all.

This year’s seva is focusing on clean drinking water, medical assistance, sanitation, and waste management. Over 10 lakh litres of water are being distributed through hydration kiosks and mobile ATMs. The Group has set up 24/7 emergency medical booths and deployed 500+ trained volunteers across the city.

A major highlight is the implementation of eco-friendly waste disposal units, helping manage over 95 per cent of the Yatra’s waste sustainably. Seamless coordination with local authorities and community partners are ensuring smooth execution across all touchpoints.
